    A programme for UCL Student Ambassadors

  • Sign up now for the UCL Student Ambassadors communication training programme!  You'll get paid for 6 hours at your standard Student Ambassador rate, and get a mentor from a top employer like Investec, Just Eat or Google. 
     
    Experienced UCL Ambassadors will give you advice about the communication skills needed in your Ambassador roles, as well as for your career. Participants receive a Certificate of Achievement.  
     
    The online programme is on Wednesdays 9, 16, 23 & 30 November (3-4.30pm). It's a friendly environment so perfect if you feel less confident speaking in front of groups.

    Advice from UCL Peer Mentors

     
    Peer Mentors are experienced Student Ambassadors who have been through the same journey as you.
     
    Part of the Ambassador role is to start conversations with people or speak in front of bigger group.
     
    The Peer Mentors are a friendly group of people who can share their tips and advice, and answer any questions you have.

    You'll meet your Mentors for the first time and take part in interactive exercises to develop speaking confidence.

    The Mentors will lead conversations with you to explore your ideas and
    develop communication skills for the workplace.

    This week is all about interview practice, with your Mentors giving you personalised feedback on your interview skills.

    Practice

    3-4.30pm Wed 30 Nov
    The programme wraps up with some
    presentation practice, with supportive feedback from Mentors to help build confidence.
