Sign up now for the UCL Student Ambassadors communication training programme! You'll get paid at your standard Student Ambassador rate, and get a mentor from a top employer like Investec, Just Eat or Google.
Experienced UCL Ambassadors will give you advice about the communication skills needed in your Ambassador roles, as well as for your career. Participants receive a Certificate of Achievement.
The online programme is on Wednesdays 17 Nov, 24 Nov, 1 Dec and 8 Dec (3-4.30pm). It's a friendly environment so perfect if you feel less confident speaking or just want to improve your skills.
“I’ve always been worried that sometimes I may say things wrong, it made me anxious. I learned that I actually can speak confidently in front of people, even academics. I now find the idea of speaking in front of people exciting.”
100% of UCL Student Ambassadors who took part in the programme increased their speaking confidence, with an average increase of 40%.
