• LEAP students - develop your leadership, communication and mentoring skills

Be a Peer Mentor on the We Speak programme

  • We Speak trains you as a Peer Mentor so you can develop your leadership, communication and mentoring skills while transforming the speaking confidence of less confident students.

All sessions take place online via group video calls where you'll work 1:1 and in small groups.

Peer Mentors work closely with Mentors from top employers including Investec, General Electric, Dojo, Wavemaker and Just Eat.

The only criteria for Peer Mentors is that you are friendly and approachable, and want to help put less confident students at their ease as they go on their journey to build confidence.

    We Speak Peer Mentors

Our Peer Mentors are university students and graduates who have often taken part in the We Speak programme themselves to build confidence.

You'll work alongside Mentors during the programme so you can help the participants find out what they're passionate about and give them supportive feedback.

The only criteria to be a Peer Mentor is that you are friendly and approachable, and ready to share your time and experience with other students who are on the journey of building their confidence.
